5 proved to be another successful year for Global Wire Associates. Besides our 10th anniversary celebration, we have also seen growth in
all areas of the organization.
As this was the first full year Global Wire Design has been in operation, more clients are better at understanding the need to have an online presence that presents their brand the right way to users. We hope to expand its services in the new year!
Global Wire Books had record sales this year with only three new publications! We not only plan to bring more e-publications next year, but we are also considering adding audiobooks to the roster!
ContentCamp has also seen a jump in interest this year, as this gives participants the opportunity to have a more personalized, educational experience. In November we had our first mini-conference focused on e-commerce just in time for holiday shopping, and it was attended by over 100 people. We plan to do more longer, specialized online conferences in the new year as well.
Our online webinars and in-person seminars continue to generate interest, but we do plan to continue cutting back on in-person meetings when possible for budget and environmental concerns.
Our blog is the voice of the organization where it continues to inform and stir up conversations about trends in communications. An unexpected hit is our “Ask GWA” series, where we give advice to readers. We plan to expand on this idea in the new year.
